St Day Neighbourhood Development Plan

A very successful follow up meeting was held in the Community Centre on Monday 04 September with 20 people present. Some very important steps were taken and it now seems very likely that there is sufficient enthusiasm within the parish to go ahead and start the process of developing an NDP …. but …. there will always be room for more willing volunteers so please contact the Parish Clerk or any of your Parish Councillors if you want to get involved. We would particularly like to hear from people who live in Scorrier, Busveal, Ninnis and other parts of the parish which are out of the centre of St Day.

The next important steps will be to register our intentions with Cornwall Council and apply for the funding which is available and also to develop an initial, short, questionnaire which we would like everyone, young and old, in St Day Parish (including a large part of Scorrier and all of Busveal) to complete. Someone will be knocking on your door very soon with the questionnaire as your answers are needed so that the volunteers can find out exactly what you think the plan should cover and how you would like to see the Parish of St Day develop over the next 15 years. Your ideas and opinions will decide what the plan covers.

Please keep checking on this website, in the quarterly parish newsletter and on notice boards for future updates on our progress.
