Weedkilling Notice

Weather permitting, tomorrow (26th June) you may see a contractor in St Day tackling the weeds. Whilst the Parish Council accepts this comes with disadvantages, the contractor is both qualified and very experienced. He will be precise and as sympathetic as possible to the environment, using the most environmentally friendly product.

There is no way to please all the people all of the time, but St Day is looking so untidy with all the weeds (we get numerous complaints about this); and as other ‘more eco’ methods have been tried, they simply have not worked.

I will apologise in advance, on behalf of the Parish Council, if this upsets you; but also urge everyone to keep their property borders weeded, so that less weed killing is needed in the future.
