St Day and Carharrack Retired and Pensioners Club

St Day and Carharrack Retired and Pensioners club was formed on 19th June 1978 and now meets on the first Monday of every month at 2pm at the Mills Hall in Carharrack. It is open to all above the age of 50. We have a very short meeting to conduct our necessary running administration then this is followed by entertainment, then a cup of tea and a biscuit.

We are usually all finished by 4pm. Throughout the year we arrange coach trips to various locations, these are usually on a Bank Holiday Monday or on a Wednesday. As well as the normal monthly meetings we have special ones like the Easter /Spring Fare, and Christmas Party, as well as the Christmas Meal at a local Venue.

In January of each Year we have an Annual Holiday which is available, we organise this and book it through Daish’s for one of their Hotels.

So as you can see we have a very busy and well organised schedule, were you can pick and choose to suite yourself. There is a membership required to join the club, which currently stands at £10, this membership covers the cost of all monthly meetings as well as the Christmas Meal which is excellent value for money.

So why not come along to one of our meetings, see if you like it, and then join us. We all get along very well and it’s nice to have a friendly chat, so see you at our next meeting where you will be made very welcome.
