FSB Cornwall School for Small Businesses

The following may be of interest to anyone who runs a small business and particularly to those whose business has only recently started up.

On 19 September St Austell Conference Centre will become the “FSB School for Small Businesses” for the day. This will give attendees 15 professionally tutored, hour long, masterclasses to choose from (equating to 300 places for small businesses) to come and learn new business skills all on one day. There’s something for everyone with subjects including Tax Breaks for SMEs, Business Planning, Cash-flow, Fixing Retail Problems, Marketing, Management Skills, Taking on Employees, Doing Business Digitally (inc. social media), Save Money by being Green, Funding/Finance & Investor Ready, and How to Sell.

To maximise benefit, these practical classes are limited to 20 people and cost just £8 each. This is a completely flexible day – attendees can book individual classes, stay all day or even just come for a networking lunch (just £8 also) or the open-house networking at the end of the day.

Whatever stage your business is at, this is a cost-effective way to get the edge on the competition and make some new connections. This event is open to members and non-members.

Please let me know if you would like more details about this day or you can find out more here.

Best wishes
